THE STORY
Funxtion is a smart digital fitness company focused on large gym chains in the whole world. With an app that has 200,000 active app users per quarter, we needed to take a step towards personalized content and wearables integration to increase engagement.
MY ROLE
As a UX/UI designer, I led this project end-to-end in consultation with stakeholders.

THE CHALLENGE
The challenge was to update the design and align it visually with About Collab, without losing the unique identity that Studio About had built over time.

PROCESS
This project required plenty of user research, during which I dived into behaviors observed in gym & outside of it. I produced multiple wireframes experimenting with various interfaces, evaluating each one until I narrowed down to a few solutions. After that I tested these solutions with our audience and decided to move with one of the versions, arriving at the final, refined design.

OUTCOME
With the Activity Log, we provided users with an accessible overview of their fitness progress and reignited their motivation. We transformed the user experience, contributing to increased user retention rates and higher user satisfaction.

THE CHALLENGE
At the moment, we lacked any history or progress tracking whatsoever, and our content personalization was limited. The absence of a clear overview of the progress resulted in our users losing interest, and this, in turn, impacts our gym operators facing the challenge of low customer retention. We needed to come up with a new Activity Log feature that will solve those issues.
